Terms of Use

The rules for using BestieBrief, in plain English.

Last updated October 6, 2026

By using bestiebrief.com (“BestieBrief,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Who can use BestieBrief

BestieBrief is for readers 13 and up. If you’re under 13, please don’t use the site. If you’re under 18, go over these terms with a parent or guardian.

Not professional advice

Our guides, quizzes and answers are for information and fun. They are not medical, mental health, legal or financial advice, and they don’t replace a doctor, counselor or other professional who knows your situation. Quizzes are not tests or diagnoses. If you’re in danger, call 911. If you’re struggling, call or text 988 or text HOME to 741741.

Using our content

Everything on BestieBrief, including text, images, quizzes, printables and profile pictures, belongs to BestieBrief. You’re welcome to read it, share links to it, print our printables and use our profile pictures on your own social accounts. You may not copy our articles to another site, sell or resell our content or images, or claim them as your own.

Questions you send us

When you send a question to Ask Big Sis, you give us permission to edit it, publish it on BestieBrief and our social accounts, and use it to decide what to write about. We publish questions anonymously. We can’t answer every question, and we can’t reply to anyone directly. Don’t include names, contact details or other information that could identify you or anyone else.

Ground rules

Don’t use the site to break the law, harass anyone or send spam. Don’t try to hack, overload or scrape the site, or get around anything we use to protect it.

Some links go to other websites and stores, and some are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their products, content or policies. Anything you buy is between you and the store.

No guarantees

We try to get things right, but BestieBrief is provided “as is.” We don’t promise the site will always be available, error-free or up to date.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, BestieBrief isn’t responsible for any loss or harm that comes from using the site or relying on its content. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new terms.
